Bray Road Beast | April 11, 2010

Okay Formspringme is playing up, so I’m answering this question here and posting it on twitter also.

What’s your take on the Bray Road Beast? 😉 – Blackredbluefire

Werewolves, they’re not just for Halloween anymore.

Great tagline, ripped off from said beast’s website.

Sounds like it could be a ferral Alpha werewolf. Or a what we’d call a wild werewolf, one without a pack
that’s gone native. Though, you’ve got to ask yourself why it’s decided to show it’s face in Wisconsin.
Maybe it likes the cheese.

  1. hahahaha.. Thanks, Maybe it was running from something, something that finally caught up with it in the end. Makes for a great movie plot too. hahaha..

As for Wisconsin, people on the run always flock to small towns, safer because of the smaller population and easier to spot new arrivals. Or maybe he really liked cheese. hahaha..

    Stay awesome! 🙂

    • I think it was probably the cheese, or it wanted to see a Packers game.

Yeah, people on the run in small towns, I guess they do that. But really you think you’d go for a big city right? I mean, aren’t you supposed to be able to get lost in a big city? blend in. Small town, everybody knows you…hmmm. Of course, it could be something else entirely, as werewolf might just be the best word the “eye witness”could come up with to describe what they couldn’t comprehend.

  2. hahahaha, okay, it was the cheese. 😀

Or maybe the whole bray road thing was just made up seeing as all the witnesses were somehow related to each other. Small town i know but still.. too.. coincidental..

and i also find it hard to believe that a full on werewolf wouldn’t chase someone who ran away from it as was one of the accounts. Wouldn’t the instinct to chase prey overcome his/her senses?

    • Yeah well these sorts of “sightings” that only ever turn up on the internet without any further proof are ussually small town boredom fakes..still who knows?

And yeah, if you choose to run, in front of a werewolf in wolf form, a wild one in particular, it would totally give chase. running is a sign of weakness in the animal kingdom, of fear. So hence, a werewolf would see a runner as prey.

Still kudos to the Bray Road Beast , i mean it’s been around since the 1930’s hasn’t it? a bit like the mothman thing…
